Dance Divine

Hope that your day is going well, that good things are happening for you, and that you have a high level of optimism about the coming days! We live in very unpredictable and uncertain times! Which, in and of itself, is not really too bad! The problem is, that a lot of the stuff that's happening is not good! Our hearts and prayers go out to the many people and animals who have (through no design of their own) had their lives radically and unchangeably altered by the careless, selfish, evil spirited, malicious acts of others! I have heard and seen some things lately that are disturbing to me!

Back to Bright and Cheery! One thing you can predict is, that there is always a great time to be had Dancing at Dance Divine! This Saturday May 18th brings about the next offering of Dance Divine at The Flamingo Ballroom 305 S. Main St. North Syracuse N.Y. 13212! There is an Open Lesson from 7:00 - 8:00 pm! This time the lesson will be in Foxtrot! Followed by Open Dancing from 8:00 - 12:00 midnight! Cost is the same as always; $10.00 per person or $8.00 for High School and College Students (w/valid ID) and Active Duty Military Personnel!

Great news! The Air Conditioning is up and running! My man Leo from Skurpski Heating and A.C. came on Friday and gave it a complete checkup, recharged the system, put in a custom digital thermostat, test ran the unit and then we fired it up and ran it for a couple of hours and it works beautifully! I myself went up into the attic and resealed the duct work, it took 3 days, so now we get the full shot of chilled air! Cool baby! You're gonna love it!

Next let me say Thank You, Thank You, Thank You to everyone who was able to attend the last Dance Divine! It was a really great turnout, nice mix of people and Dancers! I know it was a bit warm, but I had to be on awaiting list for service on the A.C. and I didn't want to run it without knowing if everything was up to snuff! We also had a handful of Dance hoppers gracing the Dance Floor with beauty and elegance! Many thanks to you all!

All of the same great amenities that you have come to enjoy at Dance Divine will be there! A Large, Open, Well Kept 2000 sq.ft. Maple Hardwood Dance Floor! A comfortable, open, social seating area, off the Dance Floor! The Flamingo Café, offering Poland Spring bottled water, Snapple iced tea and juice, Pepsi and Sprite as well as flavored sparkling water and an assortment of snacks! Free coffee, decaf and hot tea and bistro seating! Beautiful, clean, well equipped bathrooms! Free on site parking for 20+ vehicles, additional parking at Dog Daze Bakery right next door! Most important of all, Music that you like to Dance to! We have a very diverse crowd at Dance Divine, both in musical tastes and in styles of Dance! It is our desire to accommodate everyone and we work very hard to make sure these desires are met! If you have music that you like to Dance to, please feel free to bring it along with you and I will do my best to make sure that it gets played! If there is a particular style of Music or Dance that you would like played at Dance Divine, I will now have a clipboard at the DJ stand and you can write down your suggestions and I will try to get them!

     From South; Take I81 north to Mattydale exit (exit 26) follow signs to Rte.11 north (under 81 overpass). Rte.11 turns into Main St. as it goes through the Village of N. Syracuse! When you cross over Taft Rd. at Sweetheart Corners go 1 more mile and you'll be right in front of All for the Love of Dancing! It's on the right!
     From North; Take I81 south to Taft Rd. exit (exit 27). Turn rt. onto Taft Rd. Take Taft Rd. to Rte.11. Turn rt. onto Rte.11 and go 1 mile and you'll be right in front of All for the Love of Dancing! It's on the right!
      Or; come down Rte.11 through the Village of N. Syracuse. Rte.11 is Main St. as it passes through the Village! All for the Love of Dancing will be on the left almost directly across the street from Barbieri's II restaurant!
     From East or West; Take the NYS Thruway (I90) to exit 36. Exit 36 will put you onto I81. Take I81 north to Mattydale exit (exit 26), follow signs to Rte.11 north (under 81 overpass). Rte.11 turns into Main St. as it goes through the Village of N. Syracuse! When you cross over Taft Rd. at Sweetheart Corners, go 1 more mile and you'll be right in front of All for the Love of Dancing! It's on the right!
     Or; Take Taft Rd. to Rte.11 and turn north onto Rte.11 (rt. turn coming from the east, left turn coming from the west). Go 1 mile and you'll be right in front of All for the Love of Dancing! It's on the right!
